Jeremy called tonight. They are leaving for their posts today sometime but cannot tell us exactly where or when. Welcome to the world of a "need to know basis and you do not need to know". They got to ride in a helicopter today, he said it was really hot and windy when they were getting on and off. and of course, typical military, they had to rush to get there and then wait to load. They had to load everything and then decided to refuel so they had to unload and wait and reload. He said it was pretty funny and irritating at the same time. He has already decided to send home half the stuff he took over there. " I told you so". LOL Apparently he will be wearing a flight suit they will give him all the time. WEll, that is about all he said. We are trying to round-up an address to write to him but he may not get it right away. One of the guys he talked to that has been there for a while said he did not get back to the FOB for the entire 7 months he has been there and others say they got back about every 2 weeks or so.
