hello hello! well we've made it into iraq safely, they flew us into TQ on a c-130 out of kuwait. i've been here not even a day and i already hate this place. they made us do what seemed like a deathwalk. we had to take all of our gear (340ilbs) and carry it about a 1/4 of a mile to our tent, when it was like 95-100 degrees outside. that was about 11 hours ago and my neck is still killing me. i'll be here till around 8 tomorrow night, after that i'll be flying some where else. besides the heat it's not that bad here, the food is amazing, and we pretty much sit around and hang out (as of right now), but i already cant wait to go home. but oh well.
